Tony was born in Bucharest, Romania and moved to Canada when he was 12 years old. He became a top junior player in Alberta by the age of 17 and played 1 year as a pro in Australia. He played on the tennis team at the University of Montana in 2001. Tony moved to Abbotsford from Calgary, Alberta in 2005. He finished 2006 ranked #11 in Men’s Open Singles in BC.

Tony has been teaching tennis since 2002 at the Calgary Winter Club and more recently at the World Health Club in Calgary. Tony is a Tennis Canada certified Level 1 Coach and is a member of the Tennis Professionals Association of Canada.

Tony enjoys teaching players of all levels at and knows what it takes to be a top competitor at all ages. Tony brings a commitment to making the Great West Fitness Club the best place to play tennis in the Fraser Valley.
